As specified by the New York State RESCUE Regulations, each Public School District must "establish a process to monitor the condition of occupied public school buildings in order to assure that they are safe and maintained in a state of good repair."

The following policies have been developed for the Lindenhurst UFSD in adherence with RESCUE requirements:

 
  - Immediate Notification of District's Chain of Command

  - Tracking Complaints in Writing / Disposing of Complaints after Action or Due Consideration

  - Investigations, Inspections, or Tests which Address Complaints

  - Making Records Available to the Public upon Request

  - Field Trip Medical Assistance Protocol

  - AED Policy and Procedures
